On the T

The 'T' is the local name for the subway system serving the Boston, Massachusetts metropolitan area. The system consists of five lines, of which the Green Line is the oldest.

The Green Line serves a quarter of a million riders each day.

The photographs in this portfolio are candid portraits of passengers on the portion of the Green Line running between the North Station and Kenmore Square stops.

A Blurb book of these photographs is available for preview and purchase at On the T: Portraits of the Green Line.
