I have been to Iceland three times. Each time we traveled completely around the the country. This meant that a lot of time was spent in our vans, admiring relentlessly stunning countryside. So much so that there were many times I wished we could have stopped, if only for a little bit. But we never did, because to do so would have meant we'd never arrive at our planned destinations. Next best was to try to capture fleeting vistas from the moving vans. Here is one such image, from this last fall. The sheep are blurred by our motion in the van and the high ISO has made things a little less crisp, but for me the view is wistful.
